Connection, Regeneration, Art, & Wilderness Bliss
Welcome
Equisoain in Navarra (Spain), near Pamplona, is an invitation to embrace tranquility, and the wonder of the natural world.
An opportunity to awaken our senses and remember our connection to nature, in the heart of a beautiful mature forest of great diversity, with trees such as beech, box and oak.
We blend respect for the past with a sustainable future
This unique “señorío”, shares its name with one of the surrounding mountains, and appears in historical records in 1366 as Equissoayn.
It is a significant example of 14th century residential architecture from Navarre, that has survived with minimal changes.
We have recently finished a long restoration guided by contemporary bioconstruction techniques, and non-intrusive historical rehabilitation, respecting its original features, and natural landscapes.
Equisoain can be rented for hosting events, retreats, seminars, and workshops that are inspired by making this world a better place for all living beings. We also offer our land for immersive experiences and trails in nature.
Groups, families, or anyone who feels connected with our ethos, and seeking to enjoy nature, are also welcome for weekends or longer stays.
As advocates of culture’s positive impact, we support events offering opportunities for artists and creators to show their work. We welcome workshops, exhibitions, and dance or music performances. As well as scientific research and educational experiences related to this ecosystem.
We capture our energy from the sun and our water from rain, paving the way for a greener world.
Thus choosing healthy materials such as eco-friendly, and anti-allergenic mattresses and linen, organic cleaning products and we focus on reducing waste and plastic.
Through regenerative and biodynamic soil restoration, permaculture and rewilding practices, we are custodians of the land for future generations. Our commitment extends to the countryside and well-being of the animals.
Great variety of life flourishes here, from butterflies to crayfish living in the stream, as well as boar or roe deer in the forest. We are under La Higa mountain, home to vultures and other raptors, which offers beautiful bird watching. We help bees flourish placing honeycomb panels for pollination.
Horse boarding or for retirement are welcome. Including horse riding tours accommodation for riders and their horses.
If you want to come with your dog, please let us know in advance.
